The best vegetarian burger we've ever tasted
It’s a big call. And maybe we’ll want to take it back. But the ‘Purple Haze’ burger at new(ish) hipster-hole-in-the-wall café Ob-la-Di may be the best vegetarian burger we’ve ever tasted.
Why so good
It’s a burger in which avocado marries kale who then runs away with a portabello ‘schroom while they all dirty dance on a psychedelic purple bun.
It’s made with vitelotte potatoes that have dark violet flesh.
Comes with a side of
Roasted root vegetables and friendly Frenchie Australian baristas.
There are no seats left
Normale. The place is smaller than your first Parisian apartment. Think: the size ofCandelaria without the hidden bar. Come early, or do what we did and content yourself with take-away. Life goes on brah.
